The Lebanese Directorate General of Civil Aviation has issued its weather forecast for the coming days. Moderate summer conditions are expected across Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean, with temperatures running below seasonal averages until the end of the week. Authorities also warned of high sea waves and strong currents along the coast.
On Wednesday, partly cloudy skies are expected, with slightly cooler temperatures, active southwest winds, and higher sea waves. Fog is likely over the mountains in the evening, occasionally reducing visibility, and scattered drizzle is possible in mountainous areas.
Thursday will see partly cloudy conditions with dense morning and evening fog in the mountains, affecting visibility. Friday is forecasted to be mostly clear to partly cloudy, with temperatures stable along the coast and mountains, slightly higher inland. Mountain fog will persist. Saturday will bring mostly clear skies with a slight rise in temperatures and continued fog over elevated areas.
Temperature ranges are forecasted as follows: 25–30°C along the coast, 15–25°C in the mountains, and 17–31°C inland. Winds will remain southwest at 15–40 km/h. The sea will be rough, with a surface temperature of 29°C. Sunrise is at 6:08 am and sunset at 7:11 pm.
Residents are advised to exercise caution in foggy mountainous areas and when traveling by sea.
