Lebanese Army Mourns Loss of Two Soldiers in Ras Naqoura Incident

The Lebanese Army – Directorate of Orientation on Friday announced the martyrdom of First Lieutenant Mohammad Ismail and First Adjutant Rifaat Al-Taaimi, who were killed on August 28, 2025, as a result of an explosion caused by an Israeli enemy drone while inspecting its wreckage in the town of Ras Naqoura.
The Army Command extended its deepest condolences to the families of the fallen, honoring their sacrifice in the line of duty and reaffirming the military’s unwavering commitment to defending Lebanon’s sovereignty.
