The Media Office of the Presidency issued the following statement:
"From time to time, television, radio, print media, and social media circulate information attributed sometimes to ‘Baabda sources,’ ‘sources close to Baabda,’ ‘presidential sources,’ or other similar descriptions.
The Media Office of the Presidency emphasizes that the positions of President Joseph Aoun are expressed personally by him or through official statements and information issued by the Media Office. Media outlets and individuals can refer to this office to verify any position attributed to the President before publishing it.”
