Below-Average Temperatures Expected Across Lebanon This Week

A moderate summer weather pattern is prevailing over Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean, with temperatures remaining below seasonal averages until Monday, according to the Meteorological Department.

Average temperatures in August range from 25–33°C in Beirut, 24–32°C in Tripoli, and 18–35°C in Zahle.

Forecast:

Saturday: Partly cloudy to mostly cloudy, with a slight temperature drop inland; coastal and mountain areas remain stable. Winds occasionally gust in inland areas, and fog forms over the highlands in the evening.

Sunday: Mostly clear skies with a slight temperature rise in mountain areas; stable temperatures on the coast and inland. Winds pick up, especially in the north, with fog persisting over highlands.

Monday: Mostly clear with temperatures returning to seasonal averages. Winds increase at times, raising sea waves, and fog continues in highlands.

Tuesday: Mostly clear, temperatures rise further, with localized fog over highlands.
