Stormy Start to September: Rain and Thunder Expected

Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean are expected to experience mild summer weather over the next few days, with temperatures near seasonal averages along the coast and slightly higher in the mountains and inland, according to the Meteorological Service. Conditions may become relatively unstable on Monday due to a moderate low-pressure system centered over central Turkey.
September temperatures in Lebanon range from 24–32°C in Beirut, 22–31°C in Tripoli, and 16–32°C in Zahle.

Friday: Partly cloudy with fog over the highlands. Temperatures stable along the coast and inland, rising slightly over mountains.
Saturday: Partly to mostly cloudy with fog on the highlands; slight temperature drop in the mountains, stable elsewhere.
Sunday: Partly cloudy with cooler temperatures, especially in mountainous and inland areas; strong winds and dense fog over northern highlands.
Monday: Partly to mostly cloudy with active winds and further temperature drop; isolated thunderstorms expected in the afternoon, mainly in the north, with local rain showers.
