Watch: Istanbul Faces Turmoil and Internet Blackout

The area surrounding the headquarters of Turkey’s main opposition party, the Republican People’s Party (CHP) in Istanbul, witnessed a gathering of thousands of opposition supporters, alongside large crowds of police and riot control forces, at a time when social media platforms went down.

Reports indicate that the ability to send photos, videos, live streams, or make audio or video calls was disrupted across all communication tools and social media platforms in the country.
