Rainy September Kicks Off Autumn

The Meteorological Department of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation forecasts relatively unsettled, mild summer weather over Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean for the next two days due to a low-pressure system centered northwest of Turkey.
Weather is expected to gradually stabilize from Wednesday with rising temperatures.
Average September temperatures are 24–32°C in Beirut, 22–31°C in Tripoli, and 16–32°C in Zahle.
Forecast:
Monday: Partly cloudy to cloudy with fog over the mountains, slight temperature drop inland and in mountainous areas, winds pick up from noon, local rain with isolated thunderstorms possible.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy with fog over the mountains, temperature drop on the coast and mountains, little change inland, occasional active winds, higher waves, chance of scattered light rain.
Wednesday: Mostly clear to partly cloudy with fog over mountains, temperatures rise inland, little change on coast and mountains.
Thursday: Mostly clear, rising temperatures, local fog over mountains.
