Makki launches evaluation of Lebanon’s anti-corruption strategy

Minister of State for Administrative Development Fadi Makki announced the launch of the evaluation process for Lebanon’s National Anti-Corruption Strategy (2020–2025).
The initiative aims to gather and assess the views and experiences of all stakeholders involved in its implementation, including government institutions, universities and research centers, the private sector, and civil society organizations.
Makki explained that the evaluation will provide a comprehensive review of progress achieved and challenges encountered, in line with international standards and best practices. He stressed that the process is not merely a technical review but an opportunity to engage diverse partners and ensure that the upcoming strategy reflects citizens’ aspirations while remaining transparent and implementable.
Moreover, Makki expressed gratitude to the United Nations Development Programme, the European Union, and the Government of Denmark for their continuous support of these national efforts.
