Salam highlighted Gemayel’s unwavering motto: “Lebanon is 10,452 square kilometers,” underscoring the importance of national unity and sovereignty.
He condemned political assassinations as “the opposite of the freedom and democracy we aspire to,” and stressed that Lebanon’s path to healing lies in “truth-telling and reconciliation,” which must put an end to denial and political violence.
