Aoun Meets Pezeshkian, Pledges Non-Interference in Internal Affairs

On the sidelines of the Arab-Islamic Summit in Qatar, President Joseph Aoun affirmed to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian Lebanon’s commitment to establishing strong relations with Iran based on mutual respect, transparency, and non-interference in internal affairs, in a manner that serves the shared interests of both countries.

President Pezeshkian, in turn, emphasized his country’s commitment to the principle of non-interference in the affairs of other states.
