President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, met at Baabda Palace with Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, with whom he discussed the latest security developments, in light of the Israeli attacks on the South and the Bekaa, and the progress of the discussion of the 2026 draft state budget law.
The discussion also reportedly touched on the general situation ahead of the President's trip tomorrow to New York to head the Lebanese delegation to the United Nations General Assembly.
