Minister of Culture discusses bilateral cultural ties with Swedish Ambassador

Minister of Culture Ghassan Salameh received in his office at the National Library in Sanayeh, the Swedish Ambassador to Lebanon and Chargé d'Affaires of the Swedish Embassy in Syria, Jessica Svardström, who paid him a protocol visit.
She was accompanied by the Counselor to the Deputy Head of Mission in Lebanon and Syria, Christian Nilsson.
The meeting focused on bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly on the economic front, according to the ambassador's statement after the meeting. She stated that "discussions with the minister also focused on the challenges facing the Ministry of Culture and the cultural sector in Lebanon." She added: "We also discussed ways of cooperation between Lebanon and Sweden to boost and develop cultural relations between the two countries."
