Morcos: We reviewed pending items from previous sessions

Following today’s Cabinet session that discussed the 2026 draft state budget, Information Minister, Paul Morcos, said that "the Council of Ministers re-discussed the pending items from previous sessions, which required further discussion.”
He said: "We tried to avoid provisions or clauses that are not directly related to the budget, and the issue of preventing tax evasion was also a key focus during the session, in order to achieve a balance between revenues and expenditures, and thus to avoid a budget deficit."
