Aoun discusses key national issues with Lebanese businessmen in New York

President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, held a meeting in New York with a group of Lebanese business leaders.
Discussions reportedly addressed an array of key national issues, including IMF negotiations, the situation in south Lebanon, infrastructure and energy projects, digital transformation, internet access, and the expatriate voting mechanism for the upcoming elections.
The meeting also touched on regional developments, the role of the Lebanese Army in protecting national stability, and the reconstruction dossier.
President Aoun presented the current situation and challenges facing Lebanon, while the participants offered practical ideas and proposals and expressed their willingness to leverage their expertise and international relations to support Lebanon and defend its interests at various levels.
