Berri leads a series of meeting

Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received Chief of the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO) in Lebanon, Major General, Patrick Gauchat, at the second presidency headquarters in Ain El-Tineh.
The meeting addressed the field conditions within the scope of the UNTSO team’s work and the tasks it undertakes.
Separately, Speaker Berri received Algerian Ambassador to Lebanon Kamal Bou Shama, in the presence of Dr. Youssef Chakra, President of the Algerian Writers Union, Algerian thinker Dr. Amar Talbi, Dr. Sarah Qorari, and President of the Lebanese Writers Union, Dr. Ahmed Nazzal.
The general situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as bilateral relations between Lebanon and Algeria, were discussed.
Berri also received the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, with discussions reportedly touching on the latest developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as the bilateral relations between the two countries.
Berri later met with Minister of Public Works Fayez Rasamny, with whom he discussed the latest developments and issues related to the country’s transport sector.
The discussion also covered the programs implemented by the Ministry of Public Works.
