Rajji meets Lebanese diaspora in New York, community urges fair electoral law

Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji met with members of the Lebanese diaspora in the United States during a reception in New York held in honor of President Joseph Aoun and his accompanying delegation.
The gathering provided an opportunity for an open exchange on the community’s life abroad and the current situation in Lebanon. Attendees reiterated their call for the adoption of a fair electoral law that would grant expatriates the right to vote for all 128 parliamentary seats.
Raggi praised the diaspora as “always a source of pride and strength for Lebanon abroad,” reaffirming their vital role in supporting the homeland.
