Who Missed the Consultative Meeting at the Serail?

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam chaired a consultative ministerial meeting at the Grand Serail on Friday afternoon. The session was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tarek Metri and the following ministers: Finance Yassine Jaber, Culture Ghassan Salameh, Defense Michel Menassa, Tourism Laura Khazen, Social Affairs Hanin El-Sayyed, Economy Amer Bisat, Displaced and Technology: Kamal Shehadeh, Interior Ahmad Hajjar, Justice Adel Nassar, Telecommunications Charles Hajj, Education Rima Karami, Industry Joe Issa Khouri, Labor Mohammed Haidar, Public Works Fayez Rasamny, Agriculture Nizar Hani, and Information Paul Morcos, along with Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Judge Mahmoud Makkiyeh.

MTV correspondent noted that Health Minister Rakan Nassereddine, Environment Minister Tamara Elzein, and Administrative Development Minister Fadi Makki were absent due to prior commitments, not as a boycott of the session.
