Aoun receives invitation from Brazil’s Lula to attend Amazon Climate Summit

President of the Republic Joseph Aoun received a written message from Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, delivered by Brazil’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Tarcísio Costa. The letter extended an official invitation for Aoun to participate in the “Climate Summit” scheduled to take place in Belém, in the Amazon region, on November 6–7. The summit will address key issues in ongoing global climate negotiations.
