Lebanon Sets Date for Expat Voter Registration

The Ministries of Interior and Foreign Affairs issued the following statement:
In line with the provisions of Article 113 of Law No. 44/2017 (the law on the election of members of Parliament), and following coordination between the Ministers of Interior and of Foreign Affairs, and in line with the legal deadlines, October 2 has been set as the start date for Lebanese residing abroad to register to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections, with the deadline set for November 20, 2025.
This announcement comes as a result of ongoing cooperation and coordination between the two ministries, as Minister of Interior Ahmad Hajjar and Minister of Foreign Affairs Youssef Rajji are working almost daily to follow up on all details related to this national entitlement, in order to provide the best administrative and technical conditions to ensure the participation of Lebanese abroad in this constitutional process.
