Watch: FPM Speaks Out on Hezbollah's Refusal to Give Up Weapons

The Free Patriotic Movement’s Vice President for Political Affairs, Martine Kteily, indicated that she does not believe Hezbollah is unwilling to hand over its weapons, noting that it is part of the government and approved the ministerial statement calling for the monopoly of arms by the state.

In her interview with MTV, she added that “Israeli escalation in attacks provides the party with an excuse in front of its supporters to hold on to its weapons.”
