Aoun bids farewell to Sri Lankan Ambassador

President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, welcomed Sri Lankan Ambassador Kapila Susantha Jayaweera at Baabda Palace on a farewell visit marking the end of his diplomatic mission in Lebanon, thanking him for his efforts in advancing bilateral relations between the two countries.
The President also met with Minister of Administrative Development Fadi Makki, who briefed him on the progress of the “Reinventing Government 2030” project. Makki outlined key insights and priorities raised by stakeholders during field consultations across various regions, emphasizing the initiative’s role in restructuring state institutions and enhancing governance efficiency.
President Aoun also received at Baabda Palace, former minister Brigadier General Mohammad Fahmi, where they held a tour d’horizon on current issues and recent developments.
