Minister of Defense meets Syrian Foreign Affairs Minister

Minister of National Defense, Major General Michel Menassa, met in Al-Ula, Saudi Arabia, with Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani.
Discussions during the meeting reportedly touched on ways to develop the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Syria and enhance coordination between the two countries, in addition to following up on the agreement reached in Jeddah in late March, which aims to demarcate the borders between the two countries, form specialized legal committees for this purpose, and activate coordination mechanisms to address security and military challenges.
