Makhzoumi: Lebanon has no luxury of adventure

MP Fouad Makhzoumi wrote today on X: "Gaza finally slumbered, but on its rubble and the bodies of its children, after months of destruction, betrayal, and slow death. And when Hamas surrendered, there was nothing left to surrender... except ashes. As for Lebanon, some are still clinging to the same weapons and the same illusion, as if the country can bear a repeat of the catastrophe. But the truth is clear: Lebanon will not stand steadfast. Lebanon does not have the luxury of adventure. It is time to hand over weapons to the state before we surrender what remains of the country to chaos and collapse."
