New Milestone Reached at Beirut Port

Chairman of the Beirut Port Board Omar Itani announced that the port’s container terminal set a new record on October 5, 2025, handling 10,166 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) on a single vessel; a modern, environmentally friendly ship powered by methanol.
This is the highest figure in the history of Beirut Port since the container terminal began operations in 2004.
