Photos: Authorities Seize Smuggled Goods

The Customs Directorate announced that patrols from the Customs Enforcement units in the Bekaa region seized several smuggled goods, detailed as follows:
- Baalbek Customs Unit seized 400 kilograms of smuggled Chinese clothing being transported without any legal documents, in addition to 2.5 tons of vegetables smuggled from Syria.
- Riyaq Customs Unit seized 500 kilograms of smuggled clothing intended for distribution in local markets.
- Baidar el Aadass Customs Unit seized 400,000 pills professionally packaged and stripped of their labels, hidden among personal belongings and being smuggled to Syria in a public vehicle with Syrian plates.
The seized items were confiscated, and the maximum fines were imposed on those involved in the smuggling operations.
