Authorities catch drug dealers in the act

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement:
Within the framework of the ongoing efforts by the Internal Security Forces to pursue and arrest perpetrators of all types of crimes across various Lebanese regions, the Information Division obtained intelligence regarding two unknown individuals distributing drugs in several areas of Mount Lebanon, particularly in the Metn District.
Following this, the specialized units in the division began field and investigative procedures to identify and apprehend the suspects. As a result of inquiries and investigations, their identities were determined as:
K. F. (born 2008, Syrian)
M. J. (born 2006, Syrian)
On 22-9-2025, after careful surveillance and monitoring, a division patrol arrested them in flagrante delicto while distributing drugs in the Bourj Hammoud area, riding a black V150 motorcycle without license plates. The motorcycle was seized, and inside it a quantity of drugs divided into plastic containers prepared for distribution was found.
During interrogation, the detainees admitted to distributing drugs to a large number of people in Mount Lebanon areas.
Legal procedures were carried out against them, and they, along with the confiscated items, were handed over to the relevant authority, based on the instructions of the competent judiciary.
