Berri holds talks with Jaber

Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri welcomed MP Samer Tawm of the Strong Lebanon bloc at Ain el-Tineh, accompanied by a delegation from the border town of Qaa led by municipal council president Bachir Matar, along with council members and local mukhtars. 

Discussions covered public affairs and a slate of development, service and infrastructure demands for Qaa and surrounding areas.

Berri later met Finance Minister Yassine Jaber for talks on the latest political developments and the country’s fiscal situation.

Among Berri’s visitors was Grand Mufti Sheikh Ahmad Taleb.
