General Security Dismantles Israeli Spy Network in Lebanon

Lebanon’s General Directorate of General Security announced that it has dismantled a spy network working for Israel that had been preparing terrorist operations, including bombings and assassinations, inside the country. Several members of the network have been taken into custody.
According to the agency, one of the detainees confessed that the group was behind previous assassinations targeting officials from the Islamic Group.
Following the discovery, General Security carried out a series of precise security and intelligence operations across multiple areas in Lebanon, with support from the Lebanese Army and its Intelligence Directorate.
The raids led to the seizure of several vehicles, tools, and technical equipment used by the network, in addition to the arrest of several key suspects identified as:
- Lebanese-Brazilian M.S.
- Palestinian I.A.
- Lebanese A.S.
- Lebanese A.G.
Authorities said that further details will be released once the ongoing investigation, conducted under judicial supervision, is complete.
