Three Israeli officials announced that the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and Gaza will remain closed tomorrow on Wednesday, reducing the flow of aid into the Palestinian territory.
According to Reuters, the officials said that "these measures were taken against Hamas for not handing over the remains of hostages it is holding," as part of the US-brokered ceasefire agreement.
The officials did not provide further details on how long this measure will remain in effect.
Hamas had previously indicated that recovering the remains of some hostages could take longer, as not all burial sites are known.
