Aoun: The Israeli aggression aims to hinder economic recovery and target national stability

President Joseph Aoun condemned the Israeli attacks that targeted several towns in southern Lebanon tonight and affected civilian facilities, describing the repeated Israeli aggression as part of a systematic policy aimed at destroying productive infrastructure, hindering economic recovery, and undermining national stability under false security pretexts.
He said: “This escalatory behavior constitutes a serious violation of UN Resolution 1701 and the 2024 ceasefire agreement, and confirms that Israel continues to breach its international obligations and use force outside any legal framework or international mandate, which calls for an international stance to put an end to these condemned violations.”
