MTV has learned that the investigation into the case of falsified exam booklets and manipulation of the “Banner” results system at Branch I of the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the Lebanese University has reached an important stage. Yesterday, by order of Mount Lebanon Appeals Prosecutor Judge Sami Sader, State Security detained the dismissed branch director, Mojtaba Mortada, and the branch secretary on active duty, Tarek Bakri, along with a number of beneficiaries involved in the forgery operations.

The investigation is expected to continue today, with several individuals to be questioned, particularly those responsible for entering grades into the college’s “Banner” system in both the undergraduate and master’s divisions, as well as several beneficiaries of the manipulation, including Fadi Abou Dayya.
