Raad: True stability lies in deterring the enemy, not meeting its demands

Head of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc, MP Mohammad Raad, stressed that "the key to Lebanon's security and stability lies not in meeting the enemy's conditions, but in forcing it to implement its commitments and effectively halt its aggression."
MP Raad emphasized "the need to strengthen national unity to confront Israel's ambitions and avoid policies that weaken the home front."
Raad explained that "it is also in the country's interest not to link the reconstruction of homes and citizens' affairs to any external pressures. He also explained that it is unacceptable to postpone the parliamentary elections beyond their constitutional date, as this is a constitutional, presidential, and ministerial demand." He added that the enemy has an interest in postponing the elections for obvious reasons.
The lawmaker emphasized that "those who seek to block pretexts and claim that the resistance is the cause of the enemy's shameful attacks are mistaken, because the reason for the enemy's attacks is its greed and its expansionist project to subjugate Lebanon."
He added: "Those who demand that the resistance's pretexts be removed either ignore the nature of the aggression or are mistakenly betting on international friends standing up to protect Lebanon after the concessions."
