Berri meets Ortagus over Israeli violations, truce monitoring mechanism

Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri welcomed US envoy Morgan Ortagus and her accompanying delegation at the Ain el-Tineh residence, in the presence of US Chargé d’Affaires Keith Hannigan and Ali Hamdan, the Speaker’s media advisor.
Discussions focused on the ongoing Israeli violations and daily attacks against Lebanon, as well as the work and activation of the five-member technical committee tasked with monitoring the ceasefire mechanism (Mechanism).
