Prime Minister Nawaf Salam arrived in Egypt, accompanied by Minister of Economy and Trade Amer Bisat and the Prime Minister’s Advisor, Ambassador Claude Hajal. He was received at Cairo International Airport by Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly.
This evening, Salam will take part in the opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo. He will also head the Lebanese delegation at the tenth session of the Lebanese–Egyptian Joint Higher Committee, which will be held on Sunday and is expected to result in the signing of more than 15 agreements and memoranda of understanding stemming from the committee’s work, serving the shared interests of the two countries.
