Ministry of Public Works implicates new road safety measures

The Ministry of Public Works has announced the start of road marking and Cat Eyes (reflective road studs) installation works along the stretch extending from Hawa Chicken – Sayyad all the way up toward Chtoura, to be carried out continuously until completion.
According to the statement, works fall under the ministry’s ongoing national plan to enhance road safety standards, upgrade traffic signage and equipment on major routes and intersections, and improve overall traffic flow and safety.
The ministry confirmed that traffic will remain organized throughout the project, with only one lane in use to avoid full road closures.
It also urged motorists to cooperate with Internal Security Forces and adhere to warning signs and directional guidance placed along the route to ensure public safety and timely completion of the works.
