Salam broaches developments with visitors

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received at the Grand Serail the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, with whom he discussed the political situation and the latest developments in South Lebanon.
Premier Salam also met at the Grand Serail with Finance Minister, Yassine Jaber, and the World Bank Group (WBG) Executive Director, Abdulaziz Al Mulla.
The discussion reportedly touched on the ongoing preparations for the World Bank delegation's upcoming visit to Lebanon.
Separately, Premier Salam received a delegation from the "Gathering of the People of the Southern Border Towns," headed by Engineer Tarek Mazraani. The delegation briefed the Prime Minister on the prevailing conditions in the border villages and presented him with a comprehensive memorandum bearing on relevant demands.
Salam later received the newly appointed Lebanese ambassadors to Romania, Canada, Australia, Colombia and South Korea.
