President Aoun: We Remain Committed While Israel Escalates Its Aggression

President Joseph Aoun affirmed that “Lebanon is committed to the cessation of hostilities agreement, while Israel continues to occupy the five Hills and escalate its attacks.”
During his meeting with a World Bank delegation, he said that the Bank’s ongoing support and constructive cooperation are essential for achieving recovery and sustainable growth in Lebanon.
And in his meeting with a delegation from the Mount Lebanon Public Prosecution, President Aoun noted that “Lebanon has begun to feel the presence of an active judiciary, not only according to its own citizens, but according to the international community as well.”
He added: “Do not yield to pressure, and steer clear of political and sectarian influence. We must build an independent judiciary, and I will be your shield.”
