One person is missing and 175 others have been evacuated in a residential area in Japan after a large fire destroyed at least 170 buildings, according to authorities.
Japan’s public broadcaster NHK reported that “firefighters are still battling the blaze, which broke out in the town of Oita on the island of Kyushu in southern Japan, as it continued to spread toward a nearby forest.”
