Jaber and Rasamny inspect new scanners at Beirut Port ahead of their operational launch

Minister of Finance Yassine Jaber and Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamny will tour Beirut Port following the arrival of advanced scanner equipment to be deployed by Lebanese Customs in the ports of Beirut and Tripoli.
The visit will begin at the Beirut Customs Regional Directorate, covering the container terminal and the station building, where officials will present a detailed demonstration of the scanners’ operating mechanism and their integration with existing port systems.
A joint press conference will follow at the Port of Beirut Management and Investment Center – Zurport Hall.
The tour starts at 11:00 am on Thursday, 20 November, and concludes at 1:00 pm.
