Salam meets UAE ambassador, UNHCR representative, and Baalbek bishop

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received UAE Ambassador Fahd Salem Saeed Al-Kaabi at the Grand Serail, where the pair discussed general developments and bilateral relations between Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates.
Salam later met with Karolina Lindholm Billing, the newly appointed head of UNHCR’s Beirut office, for a review of the agency’s ongoing activities and humanitarian programs in Lebanon.
The Prime Minister also welcomed Bishop Mikhael Farha, the Melkite Greek Catholic Bishop of Baalbek, accompanied by Father Marwan Maalouf and Father Rabih Shabaan. The delegation thanked Salam for attending Bishop Farha’s recent episcopal ordination.
