Lebanon will experience dry, relatively warm autumn weather through Monday evening, with daytime temperatures above seasonal averages, according to the Meteorological Department at the Civil Aviation Directorate.

A moderate-intensity low-pressure system accompanied by relatively cold air masses is expected to arrive Monday evening, bringing a significant drop in temperatures, rain, thunderstorms, and active winds, with the unsettled weather lasting until Tuesday night. Conditions will stabilize again starting Wednesday morning, with temperatures gradually rising.

Forecast for Lebanon:

Sunday: Mostly clear with above-average temperatures, low humidity, and active winds—especially in the south. Clouds increase at night.

Monday: Partly cloudy with mid- and high-level clouds. Temperatures remain above average but begin to fall by noon as the system approaches. Humidity rises, fog forms on higher elevations, and the weather turns cloudy by evening with scattered showers that become heavy at night, possibly accompanied by hail, thunderstorms, and winds reaching 60 km/h.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with dense fog over high ground and a marked drop in temperatures, falling below seasonal norms. Heavy rain at times, with thunderstorms and active winds especially in the morning. Snow expected from 2,100 meters and above. Rain weakens gradually at night, with colder conditions inland and in the mountains.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy with morning fog on the mountains and a slight rise in temperatures. Humidity decreases through the day.
