The Pharmacists’ Syndicate elections are unfolding as a race between two main lists: the “Syndicate for All” list, supported by the Shiite duo along with the Free Patriotic Movement and the Progressive Socialist Party, and the “Syndicate 2028” list, backed by the Future Movement, the Lebanese Forces, the Islamic Group, the National Liberal Party, and a number of independent pharmacists.
Voter turnout has been steadily rising ahead of the 2:00 p.m. closing time. According to the latest figures, participation by sect is as follows:
Christians: 1,100
Shiites: 1,340
Sunnis: 1,140
Druze: 143
Alawites: 18
