Berri leads a series of meetings

Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh, UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini, in the presence of the Director of UNRWA Affairs in Lebanon Dorothee Klaus.
The meeting reportedly addressed developments in Lebanon and the region, particularly the issue of Palestinian refugee dossier and the agency’s work programs in Lebanon.
Berri later received the UN Assistant Secretary-General for the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific, Khaled Khiari, with whom he discussed the current situation and the role of the United Nations in this regard.
Speaker Berri also received the Founder and Chairman of the UAE-based Azizi Group, Afghan businessman Mirwais Azizi.
