Bassil from Akkar: Political discord prevented project completion

Head of the Free Patriotic Movement Gebran Bassil started a tour in the Akkar region.
He affirmed that “political discord” was the main reason behind the delay in completing projects in the area, which resulted in Akkar being deprived of 200 megawatts of much-needed electricity.
Bassil emphasized that this crisis reflects the reality of neglect and political challenges negatively affecting citizens’ lives and essential services.
He stressed the need to overcome disputes to achieve development and break free from stagnation.
