Salam stressed that Karam’s leadership of the delegation “marks an important step in advancing the committee’s work.”
Later, Salam met Qatar’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, who said Qatar “will continue supporting the Lebanese government in all fields; economic, political, military and health-related.” He added that Qatar remains deeply committed to Lebanon’s stability.
The Prime Minister also received a delegation from the Lebanese Tobacco and Tombac Regie, headed by Director General Nasif Seklawi, who presented the institution’s 2024 achievements.
