Security Forces Arrest Individual Wanted in Domestic Abuse Case

MTV has learned that, following an order from Mount Lebanon Prosecutor Judge Sami Sader, the suspect A.M. was arrested by the Baabda Judicial Detachment after months in hiding, in a well-executed ambush.
According to available information, A.M. had severely assaulted his wife in a brutal incident carried out in front of his two underage children from a previous marriage, whom he had also abused. The victim, Halima, succumbed to her injuries eight days later in the hospital. After the attack, the husband fled, hid the children to prevent them from testifying, and attempted to sway public opinion by publishing a video online.
Security forces were eventually able to locate him and the children, who were later handed over to their mother after weeks of intensive tracking and investigation.
