The bodies of 17 migrants, all men, were recovered on Saturday after their boat sank south of the Greek island of Crete, a spokeswoman for the Greek coast guard told AFP.
"Two survivors in critical condition were taken to the hospital," the spokeswoman said, adding that autopsies would be performed to determine the cause of the sinking.
