The Internal Security Forces announced that its Information Branch has arrested a group suspected of carrying out thefts in the border town of Blida, including break-ins at damaged homes and the theft of electrical cables from the public network.
Following an investigation, the branch identified the suspects, H.A. (born 1971), M.A. (born 2002), and H.H. (born 1999), all Lebanese, and arrested them in Blida on November 24 and 25. The three later confessed to carrying out more than twenty thefts in residential homes, along with stealing electrical wires from the public grid. The stolen items included batteries, inverters, household furniture, and cables, which they had been selling to scrap dealers.
The suspects were referred to the relevant authorities at the request of the judiciary.
