Watch: Drone Mission Fails

The National News Agency reported that an Israeli reconnaissance drone of the “quadcopter” type was flying at low altitude near trees in the Al-Mabarat neighborhood west of the city of Khiam, with a rope hanging from it, while the purpose of its flight and what it was carrying were initially unclear.

It was later revealed that the drone was attempting to retrieve a small unmanned aircraft that had crashed at the same location the previous day, but the attempt was unsuccessful.
