Interior Minister Ahmad Hajjar affirmed that “services at the airport have improved,” adding that expansion works are underway, a fast-track corridor is being constructed, and traffic has increased significantly.
Speaking after a tour of Rafic Hariri International Airport, he said: “Efforts are being made at all border crossings to prevent the smuggling of prohibited items, especially drugs, to all countries, in order to demonstrate that the state fully controls its borders and provides the best possible services to its citizens.”
